This September, I had the chance to spend two nights at Kimpton Aysla Mallorca and put the hotel to the test for you – not just as a honeymoon option, but above all as a wedding venue where all your guests can stay together under one roof.
Two nights. Two nights that felt like a whole week of vacation. And by the very first evening, I knew: I have to tell you about this hotel. Not just because it's now one of the most beautiful honeymoon hotels I know in Mallorca – but because it's also the most romantic place to say "I do." That's exactly why Kimpton Aysla Mallorca is one of my 15 absolute favorite wedding venues in Mallorca.

Arrive – and Instantly Unwind
The first thing that blew me away: Kimpton Aysla Mallorca doesn't feel like a hotel chain at all. It was designed by Mallorcan architect Guillermo Reynés, and you can feel it in every corner. Natural tones, lots of light, stone, wood, greenery. Modern, but with so many Mallorca vibes. There's art everywhere. And then there are these little hidden spots in the garden: a hammock for two here, a daybed in the shade there. At some point, I just curled up in one of these corners – phone away, eyes closed. Sometimes that's all you need, right?
The Rooms: Flooded with Light, Birdsong and Plenty of Time to Relax
The rooms are huge, and in the morning such soft light pours in through the floor-to-ceiling windows that waking up becomes one of the highlights of the day. Every room has its own balcony or terrace – perfect for your first coffee from the espresso machine or a sundowner for two.

At SABA, Mediterranean cuisine meets Asian influences – exactly the kind of dinner where you keep passing your fork across the table because you simply have to try each other's dishes. During the day, Zayt by the pool is the place to be: Mallorcan small plates, fresh salads, a cocktail in hand, feet in the water.

Why Kimpton Aysla Is a Dream Honeymoon Hotel
Intimate, not anonymous: With just 79 rooms, it never feels crowded – it feels like a true boutique resort.
Easy to get to: From Germany, Austria and Switzerland, you'll be on the island in just over two hours – perfect for a minimoon right after the wedding, too. From Palma Airport, it's only a 25–30 minute drive to the hotel.
The perfect base: Palma, with its cathedral, old town and tapas bars, is practically around the corner, and beaches, coves and the Serra de Tramuntana are all within easy reach.

Okay, now for my favorite part. Because while I was lying there in the garden, I couldn't help but picture what a wedding here might look like. And I got goosebumps. Imagine this: You get ready in your suite in the morning, sunlight streaming through the big windows, a glass of cava, your loved ones all around you. In the afternoon, you say "I do" to your favorite person, then head up to the rooftop terrace for drinks – overlooking the gardens and the mountains as the sun slowly sets. And in the evening, you celebrate with up to 200 guests in the light-filled LLUM ballroom, with the gardens and mountains as your backdrop.
